Zeiss optical has been the pioneer in lens technology and binocular coatings

Carl Zeiss Optical Inc. was established in 1846 and started out by developing riflescopes.  In 1892, Zeiss binoculars were born and got a patent for their extended eye relief feature as well as created the first roof prism binoculars in the world.  Since then Zeiss sport binoculars has been the leader in binocular and scope technology inventing the anti-reflective coating, push-pull style eye cups and the phase correction coatings for roof prism binoculars.  The Zeiss Company is so well known that the Mercury and Apollo mission as well as the Space Station in 1962 all share a history with them.

Key features you will find in many Zeiss binoculars and scopes include compact sizes in small, medium and large, rubber armor, compensated optics for eyeglass wearers, phase coatings, advanced optical systems, dual reticules, center focus, individual focus, anti-reflective coating, full size roof prism and extra low dispersion glass.  Zeiss's unique lens design, lens and prism coatings and rugged construction deliver accurate color, striking contrast and a lifetime of crisp images.

Some of the best selling binoculars I would recommend include the Zeiss B Conquest T, Victory 522032 (10x30), Jena, 20-60 X, Classic 522034 (10x25) and Diafun 523009 (8x30).  These binoculars are made with only the finest of glass and have the famous antireflective coating making for bright light transmission and can include the tripod adapter and adjustable diopter.  Also check out the various riflescopes, microscopes, spotting scope, telescopes and diascope.

Any of these binoculars and monoculars is durable enough to withstand the worst of weather conditions and is backed by Zeiss’s lifetime transferable warranty, which is the first ever for this class of optics but only applies if you buy through an authorized dealer.

Tip:  When shopping online you should first compare the various binocular models and features Zeiss has to offer including new and used sale prices.  An online binoculars review and rating can give you guidance to what features benefit what activities as well as direct you to the best discounts binocular merchants have to offer.  Also check out epinions.com and www.ebay.com, as they are a great place to start and have many new and used binoculars or monoculars to buy & bid on starting for as little at $9.95!
