Swarovski binoculars
are not only sharp but also aesthetically pleasing
Swarovski Optik is a family-owned company with a
long tradition of producing high-quality binoculars
and telescopes for over 50 years. Swarovski
binoculars are a combination of superior quality in
terms of functionality, optical performance and a
special emphasis on aesthetic design. This includes
Swarovski’s wide range of hunting, bird watching and
other optical instruments of binoculars, telescopes,
optronics, riflescopes, knurling/milling tools and
precision & optical components.
When it comes to Swarovski binocular choices there
are 5 collections to choose from EL, Habicht, SLC
(new), Pocket and binocular booster. Below you will
find a brief description of each and it’s beneficial
uses.
EL
Great to use in both daylight and at dusk. These
binoculars have a crisp sharpness of image and the
best natural color reproduction. Wrap-around grip
makes for easy handling that can be held with one
hand.
Habicht
These binoculars come with a watertight shell and
classic style. Has an extra-wide field of view and
bright, contrast-rich images. The sturdy
construction makes them suitable for any weather
situations or terrain. Available in black leather
or green rubber armoring.
SLC
Probably the most popular of the Swarovski
binoculars this line is ergonomic and exceptionally
versatile for various uses. SLCnew – has innovative
design with improved ergonomics - for greater
versatility and functionality.
Pocket
The smallest watertight compact binocular fits
comfortably into any jacket pocket. The
ultra-lightweight design is just 8 oz and has no
fewer than 16 lenses for a pretty large field of
view and brilliant, contrast-rich images.
Binocular
booster accessory
For all EL and SLC models (except 8 x 30 WB) this
extension will double your binoculars magnification.
Easy to assemble as you simply unscrew one of the
two twist-in eyecups and screw on the booster. On
sale for Swarovski models SLC (15x56) and EL (10x42)
binoculars.
The
consumer ratings on Swarovski Optic binoculars were
very high and the only negative review/opinion I
could find was that the SLC WB model had a hard to
use focus and mediocre close focus. The best price
I found on these authentic binoculars were as low as
$34.00 for the most basic of designs and went as
high as $1850.00 for the highest quality
binoculars.
If
these binoculars are what you’re looking for, but
are a little out of your price range, you may want
to consider checking out
www.ebay.com for
used and refurbished Swarvoski binoculars that can
be bought a cheap discount prices. The only problem
going that route is you will probably not get an
authentic warranty with it.
To
buy binoculars online doesn’t have to be
complicated; as a matter of fact it’s probably
easier than going to a binoculars store and waiting
in a lineup to pay at a cashier.
