Steiner Binoculars are one of the largest manufacturer’s of high quality optics

When learning about Steiner binoculars I found that they had a nice selection of outdoor, marine, military, hunting, astronomy and birding binoculars to choose from and are easy to use.  Since 1947, Steiner has focused on developing innovative and professional high quality binoculars and continues to do so today.

Steiner innovations include rubber armoring, the first binoculars ever with an integrated compass and special optical coating to protect against harmful UV radiation.  Also, the pocketsize binocular and the new Predator lens coating to increase contrast of animals against wooded backgrounds.  The Steiner green coating blocks out green and blue (the colors of foliage and haze) and boosts browns and reds. The added contrast is impressive.  There are lots of good consumer reviews on the below mentioned binoculars with some of the best discount sales to be found online.

The Steiner binocular collection includes:

Predator - Predator lens coatings help you spot hidden game by blocking the colors of haze and foliage, enhancing the visibility of browns, reds and other wildlife colors. I liked the 12x40mm.

Night Hunter XP This High Definition (HD) lens coating makes them literally the brightest binoculars made anywhere and has great low-light performance.

Military/Marine Versatile optical performance, this series has become one of our most popular. They feature rugged construction and looks just like the binoculars we build for military use.  I tried out the m22 and found them to be adaptable for different uses.

Big Horn – One of Steiner’s most light weight, higher power, and razor sharp long distance Steiner performance and extremely robust.

Peregrine - New dielectric prism coating, by which over 40 layers of titanium oxide and other rare minerals are alternately applied to the glass surfaces.  Creates superior brightness, natural color balance and light transmission over a broad range of colors with phase correction for the sharpest possible, distortion free images.

Senator High Power - Hunters and outdoorsmen are discovering these high power binoculars are easy to use, give them a better view and offer a lot more comfort during extended use than spotting scopes, weighs 56 oz.

Military R & Police – Lightweight and durable, these binoculars apply to military standards offering the brightest detail and stand up to the toughest conditions, field-tested, combat proven, fog-proof, waterproof and shock-resistant.  Check out the 7x55mm series.

Safari - Special technology enables you to see subjects clearly and comfortably in difficult light situations. These Steiner optics reduce harmful UV radiation while providing maximum glassing comfort, leaving your eyes feeling cool and comfortable.

Wildlife – Durable, waterproof, portable and manufactured from precision alloy, Steiner's all new compact Wildlife series binoculars are built to handle the world's harshest conditions, wrapped in a smooth, quiet, and non-reflective earth tone rubber armoring that makes them camouflaged.

Merlin - Compact, high performance with long eye relief allowing users with and without eyeglasses a full field of view.  This is a Popular Steiner binocular model.
