Canon Binoculars with the stabilization feature has been a favorite among consumers

Everyone knows the Canon Company as they’ve made electronical and optical products including cameras, camcorders, projectors and more for years and have developed some of the most advanced technologies available today.   The main features that make Cannon binoculars a great choice include the doublet field flattener, image stabilizer, super spectra coating and the environmentally safe lead free glass they use in the lenses which is a plus in my opinion.

Canon Image Stabilizer
Considering we are not robots it’s only natural that our hands may shake while viewing and object especially in movement and that can lead to an unclear focus.  The more powerful the binocular, the harder it is to stay focused, that’s why Canon’s line of high-quality binoculars includes a clever set of IS models that feature Canon's Image Stabilizer technology.  This technology comes from their camcorder family and was adapted for its image-stabilized binoculars. The IS system features a Vari-Angle Prism that instantly adjusts the visual path through the binoculars to maintain a perfect steady image with the touch of a button.  The VAP system is available in Canon binoculars with 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x and 18x magnification and does not need a tripod.

Super Spectra Coating
A number of optical conditions affect the brightness of an image, including the amount of light that is reflected by the lens. An uncoated lens will reflect away as much as 8% of the light, substantially dimming the image. I found that Canon's super spectra coating prevented that reflection from happening while viewing images in the sunlight.

Doublet Field Flattener
This feature is in the Canon IS series lens which creates a wide field of view with crisp images and sharpness. Canon's exclusive optical design provides a wide apparent angle of view in all of the highest magnification models: 8X25, 10X30 IS, 12X36 IS II, 15X50 IS all weather and 18x50 IS all weather.

Some other popular binoculars by Canon I came across in a binocular review and forums include compact 7x17 FC, 7x42 AWP, 8x32 WP which are ultra-lightweight, small and waterproof.
